How should this list be used?

Names are matched without regard to case against each row's region, country and data centre, so one name can cover a single site or a whole country.

One name per line, or a single CSV column. A header row is ignored.

An exclusion is a rule about future imports; it does not delete existing data on its own.

Calibrate against measured use

The model works from plate ratings with engineering defaults for redundancy and typical utilisation, so it can be out by tens of percent on any given estate. If you know your actual consumption, that is worth more than any default.

A genuine facility figure, and the single largest lever here: across its plausible range it moves the answer by about 40%. Modern facilities run 1.15–1.35; 1.5 upward suits older halls.

Inventory in a stockroom is racked but not powered. When on, it stays visible but draws 0 in every total.

Comparing a meter reading against an IT-only model, or the reverse, would fold the PUE error straight into the factor.

On by default once you change a power value. Turn it off to keep each device's own nameplate from the import and use this entry only where a device has no power figure of its own.

Efficiency curve

Watts drawn at each load level. Power must not fall as load rises. Leave blank to use a linear model between idle and maximum.

Power history

Saved snapshots of your estate's power, so you can see how it trends over time. Save a snapshot after cleaning each import.

Site PUE

Set a known PUE per data centre. A site's own PUE overrides the global for it and everything under it, and — being a measured figure — tightens that site's uncertainty band.
